Rather than a traditional lecture and seminar format, a variety of learning and teaching methods are used with an emphasis on peer learning and class participation. The course is taught by relatively small team and draws on guest speakers from a range of public health roles which may include GPs, Community Health Workers, policy makers and public health practitioners.

Normally a degree or other qualification at an equivalent level plus experience in the field of public health or research. We are keen to encourage applicants from a variety of backgrounds.

If English is not your first language you typically need an IELTS 6.5 score with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in all other skill areas or equivalent.
