How you learn

Work placements

You complete the work related learning module to reflect on personal and professional development and produce an action plan. You will be supported to identify areas for personal development in your action plans and identify objectives and activities to undertake which are tailored to your specific needs.

Typical activities include work shadowing/volunteering, attending nutrition and food-related conferences, events and workshops and undertaking online courses. You also produce a reflective portfolio where you map your developmental activities to the core competencies for nutritionists outlined by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).
